Energy Efficiency Outreach Specialist
* 3 years of experience within energy efficiency, building science, or related field - Bachelor's degree highly preferred
* Understanding of energy efficiency/conservation in buildings, highly desired
* Strong organizational, communication (written and spoken), and time management skills
* Strong computer skills: proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases and GotoWebinar, preferred
* Eager to learn new skills and software
* Ability to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously with demonstrated attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction
* Polished and assertive phone manner and interpersonal skills
* Team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
* Eligible to work in the United States

TRC Energy Services (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC is seeking a, Energy Efficiency Outreach Specialist to support Energy Efficiency Program Events, Outreach speaking opportunities, and other customer facing interaction not limited to first level inbound call and email inquiry response. The ideal candidate will be assertive, personable, and a self-starter, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and other means to coordinate with internal team members and vendors. The position will be located in New Brunswick or Woodbridge, NJ.
Job Duties
This candidate will be responsible for providing support to multiple outreach account managers, handling customer accounts/calls, booking conference/trade show and other events and securing all necessary booth services when applicable, maintaining account manager calendars and schedules, utilizing CRM software for lead, opportunity, and participant tracking, organize and evaluate existing and potential association memberships,
The ideal candidate will:
* Engage with account managers, vendors and customers via phone and email
* Manage expense budget and provide regular updates to Outreach management.
* Manage program documentation and track customers' participation status
* Maintain a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
* Collect and organize all relevant KPI data details and supply to Outreach management
* Order and maintain program collateral library, event giveaway inventory and other supplies.
* Support program marketing at scheduled workshops, tradeshows, and other events, and via webinars
* Coordinate and support team meetings by preparing agendas, minutes, etc.
* Provide event and project tracking, reporting, and invoicing support, and other administrative duties
* Demonstrate problem-solving ability with a proactive and collaborative style that works well in teams
* Demonstrate organizational, time-management and planning skills
* Have the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
